Any Polynesian/tiki apartments near west L.A.? - Beyond Tiki

The nearest I've been able to find is the Mona Kai (4600 Sawtelle Blvd., Culver City), but there appears to be no manager there and no way to apply for an apartment there. The cities near here are West Los Angeles, Culver City, Sawtelle, Palms, Brentwood, and Westwood. Unfortunately, Santa Monica, Hollywood, and the beach areas are a little too far. My boss wants me near the office. Any suggestions? With so many midcentury motels, restaurants, skating rinks, etc. in this area, especially on Slauson Ave. and Sepulveda Blvd., I'm surprised I haven't seen more such places, but then I'm new to the area.
