I had the honor of playing vibes in a band he sat in with as a special guest, during college. The guy was totally awesome!

Duke Eliington called him "the greatest musician in the world." HUGE loss for the drumming world & we fans of this incredible man. Yeah, sorry Jim, my Polish drummer Grandfather's favorite was fellow Pole Gene Krupa. Nezja polska nezi newa & Louis! (Long live Poland & Louis!)
