I am picking up the tab for a family dinner of about 6 in Pasadena and am hoping to do so without having to declare bankruptcy. I thought of Louise's Old Town or Crocodile Cafe on Lake. Any suggestions? Mahalo. |

There is a quite good Mexican restaurant on Lake between the 210 and Orange Grove. I think Earlham is the nearest street, and it is on the west side of the street. I can't remember the name. I call it "cranberries" 'cause it kind of sounds like that. Not very expensive and very good food. Further up Lake there is a Roscoe's. Cabreras. It is called Cabreras. http://local.yahoo.com/info-20605643-cabrera-s-family-restaurant-pasadena [ Edited by: PiPhiRho 2009-04-22 17:39 ] |

Just go a little farther to Rosemead and go to Bahooka's. Get a couple of strong drinks and you won't notice the tab (which is pretty reasonable anyway). |

Or to the West and hit Damon's in Glendale. These are excellent suggestions. I will strongly consider any others. |

On Fair Oaks, about 1/2 block S of Colorado, is a nice little Indian restaurant, it is called "All India Cafe", fantastic food, reasonable prices. [ Edited by: procinema29 2009-04-24 12:46 ] |
