Can you change the date to like....July 11th?

Dang.

This is gonna be good!!!

At least I'll be there in spirit.

Arrrr!!!

It's today!!

Tent is up. Ku Bar is on the way. Temperature is climbing - perfect Luau weather.

Join us for the biggest and best Luau yet!

After 2pm...

L

I am looking forward to this since its going to be such a nice day.

Too bad I went out last night and drank just a tad too much. Hopefully the hang over burns off before 2!

EDIT: Besides it being hot the food was pretty yummy. Good to see some of the Ohana. Music was great. Only thing I would try to do is have more chairs so people (esp those in dresses hint, hint) had a place to sit and eat.

Nice time! Thanks Michael and Denise!

Good times! Great hula dancer and fun band... although the uke player seemed to have tackled a bucket of Mai-Tais for breakfast

Bummer about not having the full drink menu available, but I definitely understand the reasoning. The bartenders were great, as usual, and me and the missus had a great time.

Thanks, F.I.!

pics please.
:)

TWO

Sunday was a great day. We saw the KFJC Battle of the Surf Bands in S.F and then went to Forbidden Island's Luau. The weather was warm, the drinks were great and the Ohana were out in full force. As Mai Tai would say "Good Times".

Jim you guys are hard core,
congrats on doing both.

Jeff(bigtikidude)

Wow, the turn out was spectacular! This certainly was our biggest and best Luau to date. Right at 2pm we had a good size crowd. By 4pm, the place was jumping and it stayed that way through the final set of the Deadlies!!
Frank, Larry and Kahaka Jones did a terrific job creating and keeping the Luau mood going outdoors and DJ Fitz spun his own musical journey indoors. Tyra, your hula sets were awesome. Thanks so much for stepping in last minute and making this happen. The plate lunch from Hawaiian Drive In was yummy, especially the (new item on their menu) Lava chicken and the Aloha fried Rice. Fire Pixie was a show stopper, as always, despite the speaker malfunction! The Deadlies absolutely rocked the house and will definitely be back for our upcoming Surf festival.
Mahalo to all who made it out there and a huge thanks to my managers and staff, who effortlessly quenched the thirst of the masses, without even breaking a sweat!
Next up...FI's annual parking lot sale - September 27th

Mig looking quite at home in Ku Bar

The lovely Tyra

Fire Pixie

Now that's what I call audience participation: DJ Fitz tries his hand at fire eating

Bartender!! There's an orchid in my drink!!

The Deadlies rocked the house - literally - with their brand of surf

Aquazombie tickled pink and enjoying his booking choice
