I think I need one of these
VERY swingin'lamps eventually!

hmmm, & nary a mention of playboy in the listing...

Damn!

I didn't know they made that! Femlin is my favorite from the pre-'70s Playboy jokes days. I collect pre-1970 Playboy mags, glasses, Playboy Club items, etc., and she would be a perfect (new) item to add to my collection. This is the other item I'm really wanting to get:
Femlin Sculpture

Oh, and no I'm not a perv for collecting Playboy (well, nothing that I'll outwardly admit), but I love the pre-70 issues since the girls were natural with "no additives", the pictures were more teasing rather than spread-eagle, the jokes were playful and not raunchy, and the advertisments were just so cool!

SCD,
How did they get then to "pop forward" back in the old days? (Like the pic in the BOT with Hue and the Blonde Artist.)

Info I just read says silicone implants were first used in 1962. It also says in the 1890's they used paraffin! http://www.eskimo.com/~bloo/bformfaq/imphist.html

I'd heard about the glass balls before. Wonder where all those old floats went? Now you know...

Hmmm... I know some crafty girls, maybe they can make one! Or I can make one... lots of spare time on hands.

Damn, that's cool. I wish I would have seen it before the auction ended. It's probably better this way anyhow. Not a bad price either though.

I'm selling some vintage men's magazines this week I found at an estate sale:

...one of which (BROADSIDE) copied Playboy's Femlin and put her in Pirate Costume:

How cute is that! I think she'd make a great signature photo for someone pirate-minded here. Just swap the treasure-chest for a tiki.

Or the cannon!

Did anyone save the photo of the lamp that started this thread? It was pretty cool.

Same thought, looks like ebay caught wind and pulled the listing.

bigbadtikidaddy's original post was way back in 2003, thats well outside the 90 days after end of sale.
