Aloha Ohana- I'm selling off another piece of my collection - this time it's a blue Japanese glass fishing net float with the "double F" Kanji markings. Great condition, with well-worn original netting. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290327649847 Mahalo for lookin'! Trad'r Bill |

What's the difference between the Japan and made in China floats? No disrespect, I just really don't know. |

hey Atomicchick- I'm no expert on fishing floats, but from what I've learned, the markings are the best indicator of origin. Believe it or not, there is an actual "Made in Japan" marking on some floats. -Trad'r Bill |

Japan floats were made and actually used to float fishing nets. |

I found this cool site with a ton of pictures of floats - they label each pic so it has good info. It takes a while to load, but it's worth it: |
