"Shrunken" Tiki Mug

I've just purchased this cool mug - I thought it was going to be approx 6" - 7" tall, but when it arrived it's more like 3" tall, and has the name "Royal Garden Village" embossed on the rear....

Does anyone have any info on this mug or the location where it came from?

In Germany, these kind of mugs were, and perhaps still are used by some Thai restaurants. The "Royal Garden Village" could be fitting for a Thai place.
