Looking for 1 or 2 Tiki Artist

Pages: 1 4 replies

My name is Vanessa and Im Trader Vics Restaurant Manager at the Hilton Atlanta.
Trader Vics is having a pool party on September, 5th and we are looking for a Tiki Artist. We are estimating at least 500 people in our event.Im sure most of you know about Dragon Con. They will be here during this weekend and again, we are definitely expecting a good crowd.
Lavapalooza, thats the name for our pool party, is on the third year and its been a pleasure for us to participate on that event, specially because part of the money goes to the Food Bank Community.
I`m looking for a great Tiki artist that would be interested to come on board with us and show their talent for our crowd.
We are not going to be able to cover any type of expenses you might have.
Please, contact me for more information.

THANK YOU!!!

P

Seeing as Derek Yaniger will be at Dragon*Con with about 40,000 of us nerds too, you should contact him as well...

Should be a good turn out for Trader Vics.

If you went to this event last year you'll be in for a treat. Lots of crazy costumes, huge crowds and NO PARKING. The hotels in the downtown area are full. We got rooms last year as soon as they went on sale. But DragonCon says they have rooms open in overflow hotels. Plus a big college football game that weekend. 40,000 is about right for the crowd between registered guest and non registered

This should be one heck of a party!

Quote from dragoncon website:
The Sheraton Atlanta has opened up more rooms, so you need to act fast if you want to book! Click here for reservation information. The Renaissance Atlanta Hotel Downtown now has rooms available at discounted rates. The Days Inn and the Westin have opened up more rooms! The Best Western Atlanta Airport East still has availability as well. The remainder of the Dragon*Con host hotels (Hyatt, Marriott, and Hilton) are sold out for the 2009 show. The Hilton Atlanta Airport is sold out too. Click here to book with the one of the overflow hotels and for continued updates, specific rates and hotel codes.
