I like how the abductee is interchangeable with anything that will fit into the cone of abduction. A small Moai might work.

I first contacted the designer about this lamp nearly two years ago. Glad to see he's finally got this on the market and so, of course, I've reserved one!

yeah- it was a couple years ago and this was still in development...then yesterday out of nowhere i got an email saying they were going to finally be ready....i had totally forgot about these lamps till then....good to see they followed through.

Yeah it looks great. I want one. And agreed, the first thing I would do is replace the cow with a Moai.

And I paid for one last year and I all still hear is "its coming soon"

Where did you order from? According to their website it's currently only available from distributors in the U.K., Germany, Sweden and Australia.

I placed my order back when they first announced the "Special Collectors Edition" release last year.
On occasion I get a email telling me that they're still waiting for UL certification or some such thing.

After seeing this thread, my wife got one for me for my upcoming birthday. With two months left until that day... I just opened it. WOOHOO!!!!!! She got it shipped in from Australia.

Well, it finally arrived...only a mere 14 months after I ordered it.
It is kinda cool tho
