Meshugga Beach Party at Forbidden Island, Alameda, Nov 12!

Pages: 1 15 replies

This coming Thursday, November 12, 8-10PM:

Come on down to Forbidden Island for the jumpin’ jewbilee of Meshugga Beach Party!

For those who want a visceral sense of the Jewish experience - we'll have SLIVOVITZ!!!

Oy vey, if I wind up drinking all the slivovitz alone, it could get ugly...

S

I've got a MANLY cocktail worked up with the Slivovitz... for real men.

I'll see you then (and likely before too).

Suzanne

Looking forward to trying the new concoction. What's it called - a "suffering shlemiel"?

S

You read my mind! Just tell your friends not to be shlimazels and miss out on the best taste of Slivovitz they're ever going to get.

And the rest of you? Come over here on Thursday to see these nice young men play their nice music.

And call your mother.

Suzanne

oy vey indeed.
:o

S

With all those amazing drinks, why damage your taste buds with that paint remover? I, for one, will be sipping on a Chamborlada. Hope to see lots of you TC'ers out there tomorrow.

send me Down a Capt'n Grog and a video of the performance please.

Jeff(btd)

I had a chance to preview the Suffering Shlemeil last night, and I have to say, not much suffering involved - an amazing feat of mixology. Of course, I suspect the true suffering comes from drinking too many, so I'll have to be extra vigilant tonight!

S

OK, if anyone needs a suffering shlemiel, it's me, after all...

S

I love these guys, I hope that some of you that attend can post some pix.

Thanks to everyone who came down to the show, thanks to FI for being gracious hosts, and thanks to Suzanne for concocting the Suffering Shlemiel!

Just bumping the thread for Otto.

Thanks for the pics. I think that these guys and gal are great.
Although LIVE is probably the best way to enjoy their show, do they have a CD?
