Brugal, Anejo, Ron Superior

I just received a bottle of the Ron Superior Anejo as a gift and have not tried it yet. I do have a bottle of the Brugal Anejo. Are these two differant rums? And if so in what ways do they differ. Just looking for others views before I crack open the new bottle. I have found the rum from my first bottle to have an earthy , dry taste. I my opinion. Thanks.
