Hi Charles Phoenix Fans,
Last year, our events featuring Mid-Century Historian, Author & NPR contributor, Charles Phoenix were a great success. We could not have done it without you. We sold out the theater for the 1st show & the 15" of snow didn't stop him from returning with his Holiday Show. The response to Charles' vintage slide show presentation was overwhelming. This year, Charles is coming back to present a new version of his classic Holiday Show. This show will take place on Tuesday, December 29th. This show is a great way to lighten up the stress of the holidays (by making fun of them). Whether you love holidays, or hate 'em, there's something here for everyone to enjoy. We've moved up to the beautiful & historic Hollywood Theater on Sandy Blvd! Here's the details for this year's show. We hope you can make it. If you can't, we'll miss you, but please tell your friends!

Charles Phoenix returns to spread holiday cheer with a slyly entertaining live comedy performance that celebrates mid-century holiday life and style. With his unstoppable enthusiasm and wry, eagle eye for the very best and most bizarre of his massive collection of found-Kodachrome slides, Phoenix supercharges the classic living room slide show into a hysterical/historical celebration of American holiday life and style. It’s a 1950s & 60s New Years, Easter, 4th of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas jubilee that’s sure to get you in the mood for the all the holidays like you never have before! IN COLOR! Surely, he'll have at least one Tiki slide.
