I had seen an ashtray from the Kahili Hut posted by Mr. Smiley and then spotted the matching matchbook on ebay so I thought I would start a Locating Tiki entry for this place. It was located on El Camino Real just a few miles south of the famous Lanai in San Mateo. I can just see it now... the Lanai for dinner and a quick stop at the Kahili Hut for a Mai Tai before heading home to check out the carvings in the Witco bedroom.
