Dr. Zarkov’s Tiki Lounge Playlist: June 2, 2010

This show we embarked on an extrapolative excursion into the blues – the fundamental foundation for much of America’s most popular musical contributions to the globular world of musical arts, ranging from crafting the core characteristics of jazz, rhythm & blues and rock, to imparting a full measure of imperative influentuality and infectious inflection to Hawaiian, Western Swing and other forms of pop music as well.

Listeners were encouraged to pour their blusitical booze into their most azurial or cobaltic tiki mug and settle in to savor the sweetest sounds this side of the exotic paradise that is Merrifield, Virginia.

Be sure to listen to Dr. Zarkov's Tiki Lounge next Wednesday, 5-6 P.M. Eastern Time, on Fairfax Public Access/WEBR Radio, which can be heard on the Internet at: http://www.fcac.org/webr/live.htm
