Martin Denny's Route 66

Pages: 1 3 replies

I recently received my subscription copy of Route 66 Magazine (a great mag for Route 66 buffs, Mid-Century enthusiasts, or fans of road trips and car culture). In the current issue, they published a really good list of those who had covered Bobby Troup's "(Get Your Kicks On) Route 66." There was probably two hundred on the list -- some cool (The Cramps, Chuck Berry, Manhattan Transfer, etc) and some not (The Cheetah Girls).

Anyway, Martin Denny was on the list. I've been trying to find out which album his version of Route 66 appeared on and if said album is available on CD. Does anyone know anything about it ?

BUMP.

Anyone ? Bueller ? Bueller ?

All I did was a simple Google search:

D'oh! I never considered Discogs.com. I went directly to SpaceAgePop.com and couldn't find what I needed. Thanks !
