Oklahoma Tiki Totem Stolen from front garden.

Hello,
I am a new member but frequent reader. Was just reading about the stolen soccer tiki and thought I would just take a chance to post about our recent theft.

Stolen from our front yard garden bed near our porch about Monday August 30th. This 3' Florida carved tiki totem was a new addition to our collection from a carver in the FL panhandle. We had just brought him home last December. He weighs over 100 pounds. It is likely we will not replace him unless we happen to be driving to Florida again.

This incident was reported to the local police, the OSU campus police, the OSU Residence Life directors, the fraternity and sorority affairs, was posted on ebay classifieds and craig's list classifieds. Photos and information were also sent to about 200 OSU employees, the local Utilities company and the US Post Office for their employees working in our neighborhood. Our neighborhood association was also notified.
The only lead pointed to the FUJI Fraternity House on campus which decorates for October homecoming in Island style decor on their entire property. OSU has a big "walk around" for homecoming so we're hoping folks will keep their eyes pealed. Unlike out in California, we are sort of unique in our "style" and passion for tiki. He should stick out like a sore thumb here.

Below are some of his fine photos. This week we expect delivery of our NEW 24 Hour surveillance cameras!

Sorry to hear about the theft. It sucks that some people make it suck for the rest of us. Hopefully with all those people you emailed and sent photos to, you'll recover it quickly! Good luck, and again, sorry about the loss of a cool tiki!
