There have been a few mentions of the Luau Barbecue restaurant in Seattle on TC, but not much else. A pre-tiki joint.

I picked up a menu so I thought I would start a thread under Locating Tiki.

The cover.

The back with some nice tapa designs.

The menu, must have been a separate drink menu.

Strange graphics with the guy chasing the hula girl with a lawn mower, must have wanted to trim a little Hawaiian grass skirt.

Mimi Payne also has a matchbook posted on her website Arkiva Tropika. It advertises a Tropic Hut as well. I am assuming that was the lounge.

This is under Sylvia's cafe [luau barbeque] on the site, so I'm guessing this is Sylvia holding the menu that Ductycajun posted.

The decor seems to be a bit lacking at this point, just a potted palm. I wonder when the Tropic Hut was added?
