OK, Mai Tai table instead...here is my newest creation for my living room -- a low table made of bamboo salvaged from debris of our defunct Trader Vic's. Cutting the poles to length and attaching them together was definitely a matter of experimentation!

That is an awesome use of scrap Boo GK! Very well done. I have a large beveled glass table sitting in storage that can be revived thanks to this. Thank you!

Thanks for the comments. To assemble I had to sand off some of the old varnish, apply construction adhesive in select spots, rapidly position all of the bamboo, and apply a big band clamp around the whole thing! It was not for the faint of heart. Cutting the bamboo required a special jig for my miter saw.

Sorry about posting to "carvings" as this would have been more appropriate for "other crafts."
