I'm sitting here at my desk in front of my computer which looks out on the street in front of my house. I open up your topic just as MY icecream man passes by. A young hispanic gentleman driving an off-white chevy step van with lettering & art work obviously done by the S.D. chapter of the Insane Crips posse after a coupla 40 oz's. This guy sells some ice cream, but mostly firecrackers & Mexican candy (ingredients unknown, nor listed on the label). I started to wonder "do you need a business license for this? or did these guys just slip through the crack" (which are growing smaller every day). But then I started thinking about Cheech & Chong's "Nice Dreams" and that was that. Back to the original subject "Surfer Dan" - after much rummaging through my record collection I found what I was looking for - The Turtles "Battle of the Bands" LP.
