Recent match cover find: It appears that the Bamboo Room was the bar at Chicago's Country Club Hotel on South Shore Dr.
The hotel also housed The Galley restaurant.

You have been on a roll with the posts today! I had this one on my list to add some day. I have the matchbook and here is the postcard showing the bar at the Bamboo Room.

Lots of bamboo and fish floats but no Tiki. Also a nice piano bar.

The description on the back of the card dated 1966.

Well what do you know, there was a second Bamboo Room bar located in Chicago at the Parkway Hotel. This one was an earlier Pre-Tiki joint from the 1950's.
