Has anybody heard of this guy? I'm not sure if there's a thread about him, but this image is pretty amazing.

Here's a photo of him with some of his carvings.

I like how he has his carving knife held up to a finished and stained piece...

The carving on the left in the first post looks like his take on a witco piece I've seen but am too lazy to go searching for right now. The middle one kind of reminds me of those Hawaiian styled ones I've always refered to as the "Prison Tikis". He has a Maori piece on the shelf behind him in pic #2. Definite old school tiki carver guy.

What whacky stuff! Very cartoony, almost foreshadowing Tiki Revival art.
