We were there til about 9:45 and there were still others left. I'm not sure if the band's name was the Volcanics or the Volcanoes, (too busy sucking up my paper umbrella) but they were great. The bassist also plays for the MaiKai Gents. |

That was a groovy party! Here are some of my photos. I think I see Chikitiki (the sideburns always give you away, bra), Suicide Sam, Vintage Girl, Johnnie Velour and others. It's all such a blur now, but the dancing was just as Vintage Girl described it. Can't wait till the next one! Peace. Sabu

Ah, yes. It wasn't a dreem. Sitting in the attic of the Purple Orchid tossin' back some of them Mai Tais. As the pics clearly show, PO's new mug, white with cool purple stripes. |
