It opened in 2008, after renovations to a building that previously hosted an English tea room on one side and a dance studio on the other. Cocktails are limited to wine and beer, although the choices are extensive. The interior features an array of Shag art. In July of 2011, Caffeine opened the Kona Tiki Bar outside, behind the main café. Wayne Coombs, the legendary Florida Space Coast Tiki artist, constructed and decorated the outside bar. I’ve never been to Caffeine, though I’ve passed by it many times. We’re going to go someday when we can get together with Pete and Debi, our Hukilau 2010 friends who recommended it.
