The Legendary Tom Kubis Big Band
Outstanding artist Tom Kubis will be joined by 36 working master musicians, each one a legend, not only in the past, but some of the most talented musicians in the world today! They have been given a waiver by the Musicians Union to meet as friends once in a month, and make music like it isn't made any more! A dynamite add-on is a girl trio that brings back the Andrews Sisters. It's like being at the Hollywood Palladium one night in the 50s, with Tommy Dorsey and his band playing for the boogie-woogie teenagers. (Note from Art Snyder: "I was there!")

Together, this group of musicians is an all-star ensemble that is second to none!
Tom Kubis' musical arrangements define the contemporary big band sound and have been performed at virtually every major jazz festival in the world including the Playboy Jazz Festival, the Montreaux Jazz Festival and the Berkeley Jazz Festival to name a few. This show benefits various local student scholarships. Come see the show!
