Trader Vic's Original Rum @ Trader Joe's

Hey all I just wanted to ask if anyone had purchased a bottle of Trader Vic's "original rum" from Trader Joe's. To my knowledge I've never seen this sold in a chain store before...actually I don't remember seeing it at Trader Vic's in Beverly Hills. Anyhoo anybody know if this is any good say compared to Bacardi's?

I actually thought it was pretty good for the price. I do like it better than Bacardi, since Bacardi tastes like....well, Bacardi.

I personally think the Trader Vic's brand will be a better choice for tropical drinks in comparison to Bacardi, because any drink mixed with Bacardi will taste like....well, BACARDI! :lol:

(By the way, Myers is still one of my top favs)
