Donn Beach, best known as Don the Beachcomber, was responsible for creating and spreading tiki culture around the world. We're committed to bringing you Donn's Tiki with our relaxed ambiance consisting of exotic, rum-based cocktails and tropical décor, complete with island-themed fabrics, torches, “hula” girls, palm tree motifs, masks, carvings and Asian-influenced food.

MYSTIC TIGER
Mystic Tiger is a high energy three-piece band consisting of Sax, Keyboards, Vocals and Drums! This group has 40+ years of combined experience playing R&B, Oldies, Jazz and Blues, Classic Rock and Vintage Songs from the '50s, '60s, '70s to the present! They have played individually both nationally and internationally, and we welcome them to Don the Beachcomber!
MEET MYSTIC TIGER:
...Daniel Mancuso-(Saxophone, Lead Vocals) Daniel started playing music at an early age and had a close association with the Big Band Leader Woody Herman who gave him his start in music... He attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA and has travelled all over performing with name artists and various groups!...Daniel has also done studio work on recordings and movie soundtracks.
...Richard Alexander-( Percussion, Keyboards, Vocals ) Richard is a multi -talented Musician, Writer, Performer who has worked with such names as Ambrosia, Foreigner, Christopher, Signature.... just to name a few! He is currently signed to a publishing deal with Sony Records.
...Jeff Moore (Keyboards, Vocals) is a Classically trained musician who has an astounding feel for all types of music. He has worked extensively with local bands in the Los Angeles area.

Don the Beachcomber is proud to play host to a new series of Reggae Shows featuring FULLY FULLWOOD, joined by talented musicians who are noted in this genre and those that are on the rise! Some of these musicians have played with Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Kenny Loggins, Tracy Chapman, Ben Harper, Dennis Brown and Joe Higgs to name just a few.

WRKK Hula Hayride
7 p.m. - $10 suggested donation!
WRKK Productions will be producing an Americana based music variety show, with proceeds benefiting the Huntington Beach High School’s Performing Art Program. The event will be held at Don the Beachcomber in Sunset Beach on Thursday January 19th. This will be presented as a dinner theater in Don The Beachcomber’s tropical oasis Hidden Village Theater.
Doors will open at 7:00 pm with $12:00 and under Southern style home cooking menu. Happy hour pricing on appetizers and drinks will last all night. A voluntary $10 donation will be accepted at the door.

The vintage sounds of the Hot Rod Trio featuring the very talented guitarist Buddy Dughi.

Sunset Beach's own Road Kill KIngs will perform their unique blend of countrybluegrass
and burn up the WRKK Hayride Stage.
- There will be no shortage of outlaw country music with the Boardertown Saints and Signal Hillbillys making a appearance.
- Local Violinist Emily Kilimnik will be performing a solo classical piece.
- The high Lonesome cowboy prairie songs of Dusty Hart.
- Making his debut appearance in Southern California will be multi-instrumentalist/singer song writer Ryan Donohue who has performed all over the world and just finished a North African tour.
- Making a appearance from his move to Hollywood, Sunset Beach’s uncle of country Blues Mr. Dick Deluxe will be performing his unique blend of southern country and Chicago Blues.
- Students from Huntington Beach High School’s Performing Art Program will also be performing in the MMET Band (Music Media Entertainment Technology).
Darren Ellis and Randy Cochran from The Road Kill Kings will be hosting the night with a sprinkling of their Hula Hayride house band throughout the night.
This event guarantees plenty of great music, some impromptu laughs,
great food and memories to last a lifetime.
