This is very interesting. I think Louis Armstrong may have had a secret love for hapa haole music to have done these. And it is also interesting that Ukelele player Bill Tapia had performed with Armstrong(perhaps on guitar?) before, and in his final years used to tell a story of his getting high with the band backstage for the first time....according to him, the first AND last time!

Thanks to you I spent the better part of the evening drinking tequila and watching Louis Armstrong
videos. The videos of Louie live are great, check out the audience in the "Mack The Knife" clip,
makes one yearn for a simpler time.
