Being a fan of the Captain, I receive email updates from his website, http://www.rum.com. The email I received last week had a link ( http://www.rum.com/partyofthemonth/index.php )on how to throw a Tiki Party. Imagine my suprise when I read the following:

"Music:
Classic lounge and exotica like Les Baxter or Yma Sumac, or more modern bands like Cherry Capri and the Thurston Howlies."

Pretty cool.

Wow! I didn't think that the Captain would recall that wild romp we had? He was pretty toasted on that rum of his. It's nice to be remembered :)

Cherry, you and the Captain? Hope CB don't find out.

We were 'on a break' And I just couldn't resist those big blue eyes

WHEN IS YOUR NEXT GIG? ANY BANDS AT 'INTERNATIONAL TIKI DAY'

Nothing public is planned in the near future. We are going to hopefuly start recording a CD soon, though.
