Any Info On This Seattle Mug?

Pages: 1 7 replies

So I bought this mug off of eBay, but didn't find info on it. Was it a hobbyist, production, or restaurant mug? (sorry for the unpleasant pics, I have been hitting the rum and was running low of battery time)

Many Thanks,

Fuzz

Oh, and by the way, I'm not trolling for info to resell it.

Here's a thread about a blue whale mug/vase made by John Todd of Seattle also. No real answers there either.

I have a mug/vase that is a lot like that one, but mine is in orange. I highly suspect it isn't tiki, but a totem pole.

T

Well... Yeah it's a totem, But where from? Kalua room, Ivar's, etc?

It seems to have been all of the above, as shown by this version:

Mine looking like a hobbyist restaurant mug, and as shown by yours, it went into production.

Mine is a hobbiest mug. It has "Bobbie B April 21, 1964" etched into the bottom. I can post pictures if you are interested.

Yikes! This thing is odder Than I thought!
