AWESOME!!!

Agreed on all accounts...a great Rum Rhum Club featuring one of my favorite styles of rum: Jamaican. I was very excited to see Smith & Cross on the "menu". It's such a unique rum and really good to mix with. Huge thank yous to Forrest (the science of rum!), Marie, Amy, and the Tonga Hut for putting these events on.

And seeing Tom back in his photography pose just seemed right. Good to see you up and around again Tom!

kevin

Another excellent Rhum Rum meeting! Can't wait for the next one!

What a great way to get back to into the "real world" I say.

Respectful.

Anyone want to go in on a bottle of this with me for our next meeting?

I think Hi Times has it for $3,929.00

Thats all?

We can mix Cuba Libres with it !!

Only if you use coke from Mexico, or throwback coke with real sugar,
none of that corn syrup coke.

We are pleased to announce another meeting of our Rum Rhum Club!

DATE: February 24th

TIME: 2pm
note: earlier than normal

FEATURING:DEADHEAD® Rum
http://deadheadrum.com

We will be tasting the rum and mixing it in two cocktails.
One created by Victoria D'Amato-Moran, the DEADHEAD® ISLAND VOODOO
Another by the Tonga Hut's own Marie King, the Tongan Cholo (made with her new Tamarind-chili syrup).

See y'all then!

I hear there is supposed to be extra awesome bonusness for all RRC attendees today.

My vote: Not only does this rum taste good:

...but it will make a nice addition to your head rack:

..or look good as a trophy hanging on your porch:

:)

Great looking bottle! Bummer I missed this one...

RL

The Deadhead Rum Rhum Club (2/24/13) gathering was a nice change of pace. Not that there is anything wrong with drinking 12 shots in a row of different types of pure rum, per se, but having a nice shot to sip and then sampling a couple of cocktails made from the same great rum was fun too! Forrest put on another stellar presentation in which he explained the history of the rum and sang its praises as he savored it with us. Here are some photos I snapped between sips of pure Deadhead rum, some wild banana concoction and Marie King's taste tempting cocktail made from Deadhead rum, tamarind, pepper and orange flavors.
