Here are some photos that were shot out in Vegas when we played the Viva Las Vegas Tiki Pool Party! Thanks to TikiTim for shooting a lot of these! Enjoy!

We found a great artical about Viva, featuring our band here: http://gretschpages.com/happenings/viva-las-vegas-15-featuring-duane-eddy/updates/191/

You had a horn player too!

Sometimes you have to bring out the heavy artillery!

That baritone sax player is Alex Hernandez. He's an old friend of mine (played in a number of bands together) and he can really blow! If you're into heavy hitting 1950's R&B I suggest you take a listen to his band (who was also playing Viva Las Vegas 15) The Royal Rhythmaires!

WOW! Looks like a great time with a really cool band! Nice snaps, thanx for sharing!

Good gravy, what were those girls in grass skirts doing?! It sure wasn't hula!
Is the steel player in the posted pix above and in the pool pary video, Kevin Bullat? Look's like a different player, who is he? Is Kevin still a member? I notice Kevin's name is spelled Bullet on the MySpace page, and he's listed as a pedal steeler, yet I've never known him to use anything but a steel guitar. Quibbles and questions aside, you guys sound pretty good!

No, the girls don't do traditional hula. It's a bastardized go-go version of hula.
Some people don't 'get it'. And we're fine with that.

The MySpace page is un-editable for some reason. That was an error. Kevin doesn't/ didn't play pedal steel guitar.
He is no longer working with The Hula Girls.

The guy on steel with us in the Vegas pictures is the very talented Hank Mann.
