Monin Caribbean syrup

Pages: 1 5 replies

Has anyone tried the Monin Caribbean syrup yet? I've just got a bottle and I wonder how other epople have used it.

I don't see it listed at the Monin Store. It may not be available in the U.S - we do have "Tropical Blend" but I don't know if that would be the same thing. Gomme Syrup is another one that's not available in the US. Too bad, I'd like to try it in a drink. I could make my own, but I'm too old and lazy.

I haven't had it. I think it is named Caribbean Rum syrup here in the US. I think J$ might have tried it.
Cheers,

Ahh, it was Poly Pop!

That's the one.
I tried it instead of sugar syrup in a Mai Tai, and it tasted pretty damn good.

If it's the Rum syrup, I have used it in a non-alcoholic drink for Poly-Pop's son. Poly-Pop tracked down the last few bottles, since it's not available in the US anymore.
