Tonga Room tonight

After a long, hectic week, my wife and I are in San Francisco for a mini-vacation (today and tomorrow, then to Santa Cruz for three days. We're going to the Tonga Room at 8. Is there anything we shouldn't miss, Tiki-wise, while we're here?

If you're doing the shopping thing while you're in Santa Cruz check out the Zen Trading Company on 41st Avenue in Capitola (make a right off the 41st Ave. exit ... it's a few miles down on your right hand side). There's also a new beach shop between the wharf and the Boardwalk (across the street) that has some tiki ecoutrements. Not much happening with the tiki bar scene but the Blue Lagoon downtown mixes a good cocktail and plays good music. Have a good trip!
