Trader Vic's Tonga Punch

Made a big batch of TV's Tonga Punch for a weekend camping trip with non-tiki friends, and it was a big hit (I liked it, too). Mixed it up at home and tranferred it to a couple of growlers for easy transport in a large cooler.

First time I've made it (using Beachbum Berry recipe), and I'll make it again when I have another big crowd to please.

You might also try the BBB "Trader Vic's Punch" recipe. I cut it down to 8 lemons, 8 oranges, a fifth of light/dark rum mixed and a little simple syrup/orgeat. Fills a 1.75 liter bottle perfectly. A potent punch indeed.
