Hi, This looks like the place to share my latest creation, inspired by a Tiki carved in Hawaiian Koa that sits on my bench. I pour these latex mask in a plaster mold I created from a clay form, then hand airbrush them and sew in an elastic strap. I saw there is a section on here for carving wooden Tiki, which I tried. There is a half carved block of basswood on my bench that I never finished. I'm good with chisels, but I just don't have the patience for decorative carving: the Monster Clay just provides such immediate gratification. Anyway, thanks for checking this out. Any comments, or helpful tips are appreciated. https://www.etsy.com/listing/111108897/latex-tiki-mask-no-2-free-shipping http://www.hotworksgallery.com [ Edited by: hotworks 2012-10-03 22:36 ] |
