Made this lamp shade with scraps of leftover tapa cloth. goes with another shade I made some years ago... |

Seven years ago when we enclosed the screen porch that is now the Honolulu Lounge II, we had a slight sag in the ceiling. After puzzling over various ways to shore it up I finally decided to install a beam. Took about a week to do. It needs some stain and although is not bamboo, I'm confident in its structural purpose.
