12' Outrigger Canoe / Steve Crane's Kon Tiki

Pages: 1 11 replies

Offered here first; The 12 ft. long outrigger canoe that
hung in the Cleveland ,Kon Tiki from the mid 60's until 1976.

for those that need a starting number,
$1200.00

Out of curiosity, because I have the space, and I apparently want to be single again (the wahine will kill me, but it'd look so good in my home bar), is it 12ft from end to end, or at a diagonal. Also, is it wood or fiberglass?

carved from a single log, from tip to tip, the canoe is 12'6" X 11.5" midship.
the outrigger is 8'long and the outrigger poles are 5'long.

Your wahine killing you will not make you single,It would only make you 'DEAD'.
And I think she is smart enough to know it's not worth going to prison the rest of her life because of 'YOUR' inability to convince Her how much 'SHE WANTS' this.
get it done, then you can tell her about the DOORS!

I might have a buyer in a bit. Can't buy now as they do not have their space yet.
