King's Island Tiki??

Pages: 1 3 replies

I stumbled upon a set of tiki salt and pepper shakers that have King's Island written on the backs of them. They are similar in style to the Mark Thomas Outrigger tiki from Monterey, California. I know there is a King's Island amusement park but I wasn't sure if perhaps there was a King's Island tiki bar somewhere that I wasn't aware of. I've looked and haven't found anything. Any assistance would be appreciated!

Does any one have any info on a tiki/Asian restaurant or bar in Kings Island in the 70s?

I just found a sweet Chinese style Orchids mug with the KI logo on it.
I've seen a few salt shakers on Oooga Mooga.

Any info?

Mahalo!

Hey Joe,
I received a lined face OMC mug with Kings Island stamped on the back for Christmas. My dad found it at a thrift store so unfortunately I don't know of its origins at the park either. Maybe they just had a selection of them in their gift shops as random souvenirs.

They are suddenly coming out of the woodwork.
I never saw them before until a few months ago.
I've been leaving them on the shelves at thrift and antique stores.
Maybe I'll pick them up now.

Take care and Happy New Year!
