kona club/poolside pineapple mug question

could anyone here enlighten me to the history and/or relation of this mug and the company?

they are both available at the Kona Club in Oakland. the one with the Ku looks just like the what you'd get at the Kona Club, however, the other one is colored really wierd. when i was there last, you could get them in blue or green. that website seems a little sketchy, like maybe they're selling cheap chinese knock-offs.
