Don the Beachcomber in Palm Springs - Tiki Travel

It used to be called the Sunset Towers and was a popular Spring Break destination in the early 80's. We used to have room parties in the suites above the Don the Beachcomber restaurant. The management would come up and tell us that the restaurant was complaining that parts of the ceiling were coming down on the tables! We would go into the DTB to drink Scorpion Bowls (they never carded us) until we could only crawl back up to our rooms!

A bargain at $80 weekdays and $109 F & Sat, much better than a hotel. Funny though that the weekly rate is $810 but (5x80)+(2x109) is only $618 :lol:
