Disney Tiki Music from 1971 - Help Needed!

Hey everyone;

Long time admirer; first time poster. Hello. :) I write a Walt Disney World blog called Passport to Dreams Old & New ( http://passport2dreams.blogspot.com/ ). One of my WDW-related side hobbies is researching the background music played inside the theme parks/hotels as far back as I can. Much of this music was needle drop stuff compiled by famous announcer/DJ Jack Wagner. Wagner was a big exotica enthusiast, and some of the best music loops he put together for Disney were in the Exotica style. Thanks to a good friend of mine, I've recently obtained a number of live recordings made around 1983 in which certain otherwise lost pieces of music can be identified. I've been able to identify some of these on my own, but in many cases I'm stumped. I thought I'd reach out to the large community here, and help that can be offered is fantastic. :)

Polynesian Village - today the Polynesian Resort. I have two tracks that I can't identify and have posted short clips of them below. I believe the music heard here constitutes the original Polynesian Village BGM music, and would've been installed in 1971 or 1972.

Poly3.wav ( http://www.mediafire.com/listen/vw5pkb51ojy0b9q/Poly3.wav ) - unknown song. Shortly after it begins, the guys recording the music walk away and the music becomes dim. Still, the opening is sufficiently distinct to make identification possible.

Poly4.wav ( http://www.mediafire.com/listen/i8351or63v7c605/Poly4.wav ) - unknown version of "Blue Hawaii".

Adventureland Veranda - this second group is a bit more difficult to identify. At the Polynesian, our heroes (the guys who thought to do this back in 1983) were actually there to find and record the music; in this case, they're walking through the park and happen to pass by the Adventureland Veranda. As a result the music here is VERY hard to hear. Additionally, Jack Wagner dubbed exotic bird calls over the music, making it even more difficult to identify. Any information at all about the music heard in the following loops would be greatly appreciated:

Foxxfur, the only help I can give you is that the Poly3wave file is a song called Maui Girl. The earliest version of this song I have is Andy Iona's swinging recording from 1936, I've read that it may have been originally written as a waltz, possibly in the late 1800's and it's been listed as traditional/writer unknown on the allmusic guide (don't know how accurate this is though).

OK, I can identify most of these....

polywav1: Maui Girl by the Diamond Head Beachcombers (steel guitarists: Sam Makia & Hal Aloma). This Lp was released under two titles "Hawaii" and "Music Inspired By The Motion Picture Diamond Head."

polywav2: "Blue Hawaii" by Al Caiola. the LP is called "Solid Gold Guitar Goes Hawaiian."

Veranda 1: too faint, can't identify.

Veranda 2: 2 songs..then first one is the ending of something i can't identify..I think it's the same track as Veranda 1. Then, it goes into "I'll weave A Lei Of Stars For You' By Webley Edwards & The Hawaii Calls Orchestra from the LP "Soft Hawaiian Guitars: Favorite Instrumentals Of The Islands, Vol. 6."

Veranda 3: continuation of "I'll Weave A Lei Of Stars For You."
