With sub-zero temperatures across most of the nation and no rain in sight for the Bay Area, it's time to head for the tropics...and by tropics we mean Forbidden Island (1304 Lincoln Avenue, Alameda, CA), Alameda's amazing tiki bar. Project: Pimento will meet you there for a Mai Tai or two this Thursday (1/9) from 9-11pm, where they will also regale you with their smooth theremin lounge sounds.
