Smuggler's Cove - Upstairs Bar or Downstairs Bar - Which is better & why?

We are headed to Smuggler's Cove today (as soon as they open), but we only have a limited time & we may not be able to go back for years. I hear they get packed right off the bat.

In your opinion, which bar is better (upstairs or downstairs) and why?

Upstairs, because Steve is the bartender there.

I'll throw in, worst place to sit: In the loft, when it's crowded it gets very hot and stuffy up there; Under the stairs on the lower level, uncomfortable and too easy to drop something into the water feature behind you.
