Unusual coconut mug

I found this unusual coconut mug on eBay. It's an Orchids of Hawaii mug, but unlike any others I've seen. Even barring the odd glaze, the shape and texture don't seem to match up with any others. Is anyone familiar with them?

The mug looks like it's footed which is a sign of a better piece

I like that design. Looks more like a sun bleached unhusked coconut than the others I've seen
