Lemon Hart Original One Hundred British Proof Reserve Rum

Did you see the recipe for the "Zombie" included with the review? It's as awful a Zombie recipe as any I've ever seen:

"1 1/2 oz Lemon Hart Original Rum
3/4 oz Lemon Hart Original One Hundred British Proof Reserve
1/2 oz Lemon Hart Demerara 151 Rum
1/2 oz Bols Apricot Brandy
1/4 oz Luxardo Amaretto
1 oz Orange juice
3/4 oz Lime juice
3/4 oz Lemon juice
3/4 oz Demerara Cane Syrup
Large Ice Cubes
Crushed Ice
Ice Chunks
several slices of Orange, Lime and Lemon
Splash(es) of Soda"

Back to the Lemon Hart Original 100°. Ed Hamilton has confirmed to me that there is and has historically been only one Lemon Hart distilled, the 151°. Different bottling proofs are and were obtained by adding varying amounts of water to reach 114° (the old Navy Strength), 100°, 80°, etc. You can add 22.5oz of water to a full bottle of LH151 to make LH80, as discussed in this thread:

http://www.tikicentral.com/viewtopic.php?topic=42188&forum=10

Accordingly, if you add 12.94oz of water to a bottle of LH151 you will have created your own bottle of LH100. As Ed Hamilton was quoted in that thread, the type of water used and how it's added make a significant difference.

that's no zombie- that's a Guyanese Fogcutter!!

That LH 100 Proof British Proof Reserve Rum is made for the tax free airport shops and as of now as far as i know, also only sold at various airports. As for the "Rumhowler" who made the review, hes very knowledgeable on rum, but i dont think tiki drinks is his thing.

Anyone know where I can get some in the Jacksonville/Daytona areas ?
