Kahuna Kevin's Ltd. Ed. Signature Tiki mug by Kray & Tiki Diablo: Pre-Orders are GO!!!

My debut limited edition Kahuna Kevin Tiki mug launch is finally creeping forward from the concept art stage to reality. Mid 2013 I commissioned legendary So-Cal artist & friend Kray of http://www.triplexskateboards.com to design my mug artwork. In 2014 after much back and forth chatter, waiting, pulling hair out, calling Kray nasty words (it's how we work), he finally completed this OUTSTANDING concept work:

Since August 2014, mug guru http://www.TikiDiablo.com has been painstakingly sculpting Kray's 2D concept into the real deal and it's finally far enough along to show alongside Kray's concept. It still needs some details, a kraken tentacle, but Tiki Diablo is doing a FANTASTIC job transforming clay into an almost exact reproduction of Kray's work (Kray even gave his thumbs up and he's one difficult bastard to please). Here's the most recent in-progress shot (early September) from Tiki Diablo:

This mug can be Pre-Ordered via my website right now at http://www.KahunaKevin.com both domestically and internationally. All mug numbers are determined by order queue - the earlier you order, the lower your number. Kahuna Kevin's Tiki Mug Update! Thanks to some very awesome folks who pre-ordered my debut Tiki mug, the final production payment has just been sent to Tiki Diablo. By late next week production of the 50 mugs will begin. Stay tuned for photos directly from Diablo's shop!

After much back and forth with Tiki Diablo, mugs will be poured with an off-white/light gray clay, each will be individually hand textured (no two will look alike), wiped with a black/brown matte glaze to make details pop (again, no two will look alike), subtly hand airbrushed (yet again, no two alike) and finally glazed inside with an eye-catching glossy blue or green. There will only be 25 mugs of each color. If you pre-orderd a mug I will be contacting you shortly to specify which color you prefer.

The update on a delivery is I should receive some mugs before the end of the year, meaning pre-orders should go out before the year end. I'm hoping to mail all pre-orders with enough leeway for deliveries before X-mas, so cross your fingers!
