Thought I'd grab it before it disappeared. Looks like this was the default google page in Europe,Russia, parts of Asia, Africa and Argentina but not in North America or most of South America. Whats up with that? Thanks for bringing it to our attention atomictonytiki. aloha |

FWIW, we noticed a dateline/time zone effect. This doodle was up in Japan (google.co.jp) before the US, but then that's because Japan was already onto that date while US time zones were still on the previous day. So then it's possible that at any given time, some versions of the site intended for different locations on the earth might have it, while others don't. At least that could be a partial explanation. -Randy |
