That and unless there is provenance for the piece it is very possible that it isn't what it claims to be. |

Mine hangs in the Tiki bar in my house. Not sure if that gives it "provenance" or not. Or if that makes it worth 5 grand. |

That reminds me of another thing, unless the work was commissioned only for Trader Vic's, odds are it was some piece of décor that was mass produced to the point that it could be one of thousands. |
