Giant Crab Claw RED edition tiki mug by VANTIKI

Aloha!

Did you know that 175 miles to the Southwest of VanTiki Island lies the fabled Mysterious Island? And did you know that every summer brave VanTiki fisherman scour the dangerous Mysterious Island shores for discarded juvenile claws left behind by the ever growing Giant Crabs? From what I've heard, this season was a good one, and there will be a fine assortment of fresh Red Giant Crab claws heading to market this Saturday!

A Curious Fact about The Giant Red Crab: An herbivore by nature, The Giant Red Crab is particularly feared by sailors. The lumbering crustaceans have developed a very specialized diet consisting entirely of limes pried from the holds of sailing ships they drag beneath the waves. Perhaps scurvy isn't so bad after all.

This is the FINAL edition of the Giant Crab Claw. I have two AP castings that I will be glazing at a later date, and I'll be smashing the mold this weekend. The Red Claws will be available on the VanTiki Etsy store at 12 noon Hawaiian time Saturday, January 31st.

The Details:
• only 20 mugs in the "Red Crab" edition
• each mug is marked "VanTiki" - but due to the design I couldn't find a spot to mark an edition number on the mugs themselves.
• 8.25" tall, holds approx. 400ml (13.5 fl oz)
• $80 each - only one per person (due to small edition size)

Any Vantiki mugs sell out instantly. He only makes a few in each series, but the quality is top notch. I heard they were sold out in 6 minutes. I believe he might come out with more colors so make sure to log onto Etsy and hit refresh at the exact time they go on sale.

I'm afraid so! They did sell out really quick - only 20 mugs in this edition, and this was the last batch of Crab Claws. I'm destroying the mold today - but I do have 2 unglazed AP claws that I plan on firing later this year.
