When life hands you palm logs....

Went outside this evening....look what I found at my neighbor's across the street:

Guess I might have to try my hand at carving a couple of tikis.

I dragged four of 'em home before my wife came outside and told me to knock it off....

Are these good for carving? Do I need to dry 'em out a bit before I start?

That reminds me of my first time at the Land fill. I struck gold and loaded about 15 palms in my van by myself they where All 5 foot logs to find out they where Queen palms.lol they are not very Good to carve very stringy sorry bud thats what you have Their.at least youdid not have to hump them like i did
